Following a year of remarkable achievements, including earning the title of No. 2 fastest-growing company in the U.S., CharterUP is introducing a new catalyst to the journey of continuous growth: Denis Scott, joining as our Chief Marketing Officer.
With a distinguished background at renowned brands like OpenTable, Lyft and SurveyMonkey, Denis is poised to infuse his extensive marketing expertise into CharterUP’s history of rapid expansion and innovation.
Denis’s two-decade-long career in marketing is marked by a series of successes in developing and leading strategies that resonate with consumers and drive business growth. His time at Lyft and OpenTable, in particular, honed his skills in navigating the complex supply and demand dynamics of marketplace environments. This expertise is a perfect match for CharterUP’s position as the first and only charter bus marketplace that connects groups wanting to travel with the bus operators who can take them there.
Before joining CharterUP, Denis was the SVP of Integrated Marketing at Fanatics Inc. Betting & Gaming, further enriching his diverse portfolio of experiences. Recognized as a 40 Under 40 by Brand Innovators and a keynote speaker at prestigious events like Google Next and Dreamforce, Denis’s acumen in marketing is well-established and highly regarded in the industry.
“Denis’s exceptional ability to build robust brands and stimulate growth in dual-sided markets is exactly what CharterUP needs as we continue to evolve,” said CEO and Founder Armir Harris. “Denis’s approach reflects our dedication to providing outstanding value to our customers through tailored, data-driven strategies.”
Denis joins a list of other notable leadership additions at CharterUP over the past year, including Tyler Baldwin as Chief Revenue Officer, Brian Showers as Chief Technology Officer and Nick Donelson as Vice President of Product.
With Denis at the helm of marketing initiatives, CharterUP is poised to further strengthen our brand, accelerate growth and continue our commitment to building a brighter future for group travel.
“Joining CharterUP presents a thrilling opportunity to contribute to a company that’s at the forefront of revolutionizing the charter bus sector with its innovative and customer-centric approach,” Denis said. “I’m eager to apply my experience to enhance CharterUP’s market leadership and advocate for charter travel as a sustainable, efficient transportation option.”
